Nordic TRG re-elects the board
By Administrator |
The Nordic Travel Retail Group reported today that its Board of Directors was re-elected at the Annual General Meeting in Copenhagen yesterday, with its first priority goal to organise the Nordic Travel Retail Seminar
2009 which takes place on May 28 in Copenhagen.
At the AGM Erik Thomsen (William Grant & Sons) was re-elected Chairman, together with board members Lars Hjartbo (Stena Line); Lars M?nter (Interbrands); Lennart Anselmsson (Sundsservice); Jan Hesdorf (Hans Just); Magnus Skj?rshammer (Tallink); Morten Evjen (Travel Retail Norway); and John Baumgartner (Inflight Service).
The association says that its next event is obviously the 2009 seminar where its ambition is to look beyond the current crisis and into the next ten years of travel retail within the Nordic Area. The full programme – as already covered extensively by TREND – is available on the association website: www.nordictravelretail.org and registration is already open.
Commenting, re-elected Chairman Erik Thomsen said: ‘Many have already registered for the event, so it looks very promising. Other than a very interesting programme providing relevant hard knowledge, I also think many companies use the event as a networking tool. In a time where the travel and conference budgets are limited in many companies, the Nordic Seminar is a great opportunity to meet business partners from the whole region’.
