Flurry of brands signal intention to exhibit at TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition

SK-II, Inter Parfums, Lego, Mondelēz, Haribo, Skross, Principe, Brown-Forman and Diageo have all said they plan to exhibit at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore (9-12 May), the association has announced.

Notwithstanding any drastic changes to the health situation, the event plans to return to the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre.

TFWA cancelled the 2020 Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore due to safety concerns linked to Covid-19 and the event was held virtually in 2021.

As reported, the event will incorporate a refreshed format.

The full afternoon conference will be held from 2pm to 6pm local time on Monday 9th May, with a livestream of events available for virtual viewers via the TFWA 365 digital platform. The exhibition will run throughout the day from Tuesday to Thursday.

“It’s very gratifying to see that a substantial number of brands have committed to joining us in Singapore,” said TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen. “Last year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes provided ample evidence of the value brands and buyers can get from being able to meet face-to-face even during tough times, and we are determined to offer our industry in Asia the opportunity to gather together at long last.

“We are of course monitoring the travel situation closely, and there are positive signs in many countries and regions. We are looking forward very much to an event that has been much missed, and to enjoying the same positive atmosphere generated in Cannes.”
