Following the success of Rouge à Lèvres Voile lipstick launch, Gucci Beauty adds to this line with five new permanent shades, inspired by the Golden Age of cinema, these colours were specially conceived by Gucci Creative Director, Alessandro Michele.

Ranging from natural to orange, red and pink, the new sheer lipstick shades ‘will bring a touch of freshness to any makeup look’, said Gucci Beauty, and will be available in global travel retail locations from July 2021.

“With its moisturising formula, Rouge à Lèvres Voile is a lightweight, comfortable lipstick, which delivers a perfect and luminous finish and leaves lips feeling smooth and soft.”

GORGEOUS GARDENIA: ‘A JOYFUL FLORAL SIGNATURE’

In fragrances, Gucci has launched a more highly concentrated expression of its original Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Toilette.

Described as a ‘joyful floral signature’, the new Eau de Parfum is built around the Gardenia flower, ‘admired since the dawn of time for its splendour and said to be used in elixirs and magical potions’.

The new Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia EDP is available now in European travel retail locations, but will not be on-counter in North America, Mexico and Central America or Asia Pacific until September. The scent will reach South American TR locations in October.

In addition, Gucci announces the release of The Alchemist’s Garden 1921 EDP as the iconic Italian fashion house marks its 100th Anniversary.

“Created around the distinctive Neroli Flower, blended with the Limone Cedrato fruit from Florence, it is a tribute to the beautiful city where Gucci was born a century ago – hence the evocative name, 1921.”

A customisable collection of eaux de parfum, perfumed oils and acque profumate, The Alchemist’s Garden is said to be inspired by the art of alchemy.

“All scents are built around a hero ingredient and can be layered together to create unique combinations,” explained Gucci Beauty.

“Taking the number of eaux de parfum in the collection from ten to eleven, 1921 continues the story of magic and imagination created by Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas and Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele.”

On-counter dates in travel retail range from June to October.
