Four Pillars Gin recruits David Hogan to lead global travel retail division
By Luke Barras-hill |

At Bacardi, Hogan played a key role in the growth of Bombay Sapphire in most of the Pacific region’s major airports.
Four Pillars Gin has announced David Hogan as Director of Global Travel Retail, effective 19 September.
Hogan will also take control of the fast-growing international trade division of the Australian craft gin, which is now available in more than 30 markets worldwide.
He brings 14 years’ experience at Bacardi Martini, most recently as GTR Regional Manager for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, to his new role at Four Pillars.
From 2008-2016, Hogan was based in Florida working for the Bacardi GTR team focusing on the North American and cruise line channels.
Stuart Gregor, Co-founder and Trade Director at Four Pillars, said: “It is an exciting time for us at Four Pillars with the world opening up again and GTR resuming trading with a fantastic uplift and renewed enthusiasm.
“Before lockdowns we had entered the Top 10 gins across the globe in GTR in value terms and we would like to find our way back to that spot again and David will help us realise this ambition. He brings real excitement and energy to our business.”

The Four Pillars distillery is based just outside of Melbourne at Healesville in Victoria’s Yarra Valley.
Hogan added: “It’s a great time to be joining Australia’s best spirits brand. In my previous role I saw how fast the brand is growing and how much Australians really love Four Pillars and now we just need to spread that love further across the GTR world.
“While we are inevitably focused on growth outside our borders it is also especially exciting to see the tender for our home airport continuing at a pace and we are sure whoever wins that tender will have a real partner in Four Pillars moving forward.”
