Freixenet launches Freixenet Solare Alcohol-free
By Naomi Chadderton |
Freixenet is expanding its Solare portfolio with the launch of Freixenet Solare Alcohol-free, building on the growing popularity of spritz serves and increasing consumer demand for mindful drinking options.
The new launch, which will be available in a 0.7-litre format from June 2026 and will initially launch across Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Poland and the UK, follows the introduction of Freixenet Solare Aperitivo earlier this spring and aims to bring the brand’s Mediterranean-inspired aperitivo experience into the alcohol-free category.
Freixenet Solare Alcohol-free combines 100% natural flavours with sun-ripened Spanish citrus fruits and refined botanical notes including rosemary and thyme. Designed for use in spritz-style serves, the product has been developed to deliver a fresh Mediterranean flavour profile while supporting the growing ready-to-mix aperitivo trend.
The launch also taps into the wider growth of non-alcoholic aperitifs and low-and-no serves within both domestic and travel retail markets, aimed at consumers seeking modern and uncomplicated aperitivo occasions without alcohol.
Freixenet said the product’s iconic bottle design reflects the brand’s Mediterranean identity, while a light blue label has been introduced to clearly distinguish the alcohol-free variant at shelf.
Freixenet has also recommended the perfect serve for the new launch, combining three parts Freixenet Cordon Negro 0.0%, two parts Freixenet Solare Alcohol-free and one part soda water over ice, garnished with a slice of lemon.
