Travel-Retail-Awards-2019-logo-lead-2In a series of exciting new developments for TRBusiness, the company is now delighted to announce the addition of three new categories to its pioneering consumer-voted Travel Retail Awards initiative, in partnership with Swiss research agency, m1nd-set.

The new awards comprise the following:

‘Best Green Initiative By An Airport‘ – This category is open to any and all airports who will be offered the chance to tell consumers more about their green initiatives. The initiative they enter will be judged by m1nd-set’s unique database of international travellers, in addition to our esteemed panel of bloggers.

Best Cruise Ship Retailer’ – Travellers recruited by m1nd-set will be asked to judge the shopping environment on their most recent cruise.

‘Best Airport Food & Beverage offer’– Consumers voting on over 60 airports, selected from each continent from m1nd-set’s unique database will be asked to rate the food and beverage offer.

MEANINGFUL CONSUMER FEEDBACK

“The second edition already saw a dramatic increase in the number of entries, and we have no doubt that this will continue for the 2020 edition.

“We think that the three new awards will contribute to adding even more value to the travel retail industry, and to travellers ultimately. We are especially enthusiastic about the ‘Best Green Initiative by an Airport’ award, as it is a reflection of the philosophy and vision of m1nd-set, and even more importantly, focusing on the concerns of our planet overall.”

M1nd-set has been off-setting its travel-related carbon footprint since the company was founded 12 years ago, through www.myclimate.org.
