Gebr. Heinemann has announced new leadership roles for Johannes Sammann (above left) and Rajshree Dugar.

Gebr. Heinemann has announced that Johannes Sammann, currently CEO Heinemann Asia Pacific, will assume the role of Vice President People & Culture at the company’s Hamburg headquarters, effective 1 September 2026.

He will replace Ché Lewer-Alpman, who is leaving the company to dedicate more time to her family, as well as pursue new personal and professional opportunities.

Responsibility for the Heinemann Asia Pacific region will transition to Rajshree Dugar, currently CFO of the regional headquarters in Singapore. She will lead the continued restructuring of the region’s business and the implementation of strategic priorities.

Gebr. Heinemann Co-CEO and Owner Max Heinemann commented: “First, I would like to sincerely thank Ché for her valuable contributions, her leadership and collaboration with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.

“During her 10 years at Heinemann, Ché has made a significant contribution to the organisation…We wish her all the very best for the future, both personally and professionally.

“At the same time, I am very happy that Johannes is now returning to our corporate headquarters. For the vital and culture-shaping function of People & Culture, we have gained an experienced Heinemann with deep roots in our core business. We warmly welcome him back to Hamburg.”

Chief Sales Officer Florian Seidel added: “My sincere thanks go to Johannes for his intensive restructuring work in the Asia Pacific region. Over 25 years with Gebr. Heinemann, Johannes has demonstrated exceptional expertise in both business and company culture.

“His leadership has been shaped by international experience – whether on the shop floor or at headquarters – always bringing teams together and driving results. In recent years, his ability to manage change in Asia has been both strategic and hands-on, preparing us for future growth.

“Appointing Johannes as VP People & Culture at a time of transformation for our group is a logical step, thanks to his deep understanding of our values and his proven leadership. On a personal note, Johannes, your dedication, professionalism, and positive spirit have made a lasting impression. I am grateful for your partnership and wish you continued success in your new role.”

Seidel added: “I am equally delighted to welcome Rajshree as the new CEO of Heinemann Asia Pacific. She has already proven her outstanding abilities and leadership in our regional headquarters and has consistently shown strategic vision and commitment.

“I am fully convinced that Rajshree will excel in her new role and drive the continued development of our business in Asia Pacific. It is especially meaningful that someone from the region is now taking responsibility for this important market, ensuring that our strategies are deeply rooted in local expertise and understanding.”
