Go Travel backs TR Consumer Forum as it commits to growing market share
By Charlotte Turner |
Go Travel has said it is ‘delighted to be supporting the Travel Retail Consumer Forum’ this year, as it reinforces its commitment to growing market share in travel retail.
Go Travel is building on its strategy to develop its GTR business in 2022 by supporting industry events such as the Travel Retail Consumer Forum, which takes place in Cyprus this September (4-6).
The inaugural event, which attracted high praise, took place in September last year at the Hilton London Paddington Hotel.
“We are delighted to be able to show our commitment to the travel retail industry by supporting the Travel Retail Consumer Forum as a Gold Sponsor,” said Stephen Worden, General Manager Go Travel.

FORUM ALIGNS WITH GO TRAVEL’S DNA
“Go Travel’s brand DNA is consumer-centric which is very much aligned with the Forum’s insights focused conference agenda, so we are delighted to have our name associated with the research-led theme.”
Go Travel’s commitment to the travel retail market comes at a time when the company is seeing strong sales in the UK, especially over the recent Easter holidays break.
“The Easter holidays were particularly strong for our UK market. We have seen re-al strength; some of our customers have seen double-digit sales growth vs pre-pandemic. The UK feels like it’s well on the road to recovery,” added Worden.
As reported, Cyprus Duty Free is the host sponsor of the 2022 event. In addition, Anne Klein, Armitron, E. Gluck, Torgoen and WITHit have signed up as Platinum sponsors and BlackJack Promotions is another Gold sponsor.
