Go Travel partners Colour Psychologist to consult on product development

By Charlotte Turner |

Go Travel has partnered with leading Colour Psychology Specialist, Karen Haller, to inform new product development resulting in an expanded range of the company’s bestselling Memory Dreamer Travel Pillow, now available in seven colours.

Over the coming weeks, Go Travel will explain, through a series of LinkedIn posts, why colour choices and ranging are ‘now more important than ever’.

Using Karen’s colour psychology expertise and unique insight, the brand will outline the appeal of individual colours to post-pandemic travellers and each colour’s importance to different traveller types, taking the guesswork out of colour selection.

COLOUR WILL PLAY A BIG ROLE

“Colour will play a big role, allowing you to make a statement and express emotions. We can use colour via accessories to change how we think, feel and behave in an instant.”

“We’ve been through an emotional storm, to navigate our feelings we’ll turn to colour whether we are consciously aware of it or not.

“For those excited about the world reopening – the avid travellers, the optimistic adventurers – they’re likely to be drawn to their joyful, bright colours that reinforce their emotions, as they relish experiences missed during the pandemic.

“For others, feeling nervous or anxious, they may still pick a bright colour as a ‘pick-me-up’ or may be drawn to more muted, softer, soothing colours,” she added.

General Manager of Go Travel, Steve Worden commented: “Karen’s wealth of knowledge on colour has been a revelation, we look forward to sharing her insight. With the reassurance of this knowledge-based approach, we’re hoping to help our customers find the perfect colour-fit for their consumer profiles.”
