Guerlain enhances travel retail portfolio with key new beauty launches

Guerlain is bringing a host of new beauty and fragrance heroes into focus, which are now available in selected travel retail markets around the world.

A new 24-hour no-transfer high perfection foundation in two finishes – Parure Gold Skin & Parure Gold Skin Matt– launched in the channel on 1 September.

Parure Gold Skin, which is available in travel retail in Asia only (excluding China), promises a radiant complexion with its hydrating formulation.

It comes in a range of 14 beige, rosy, or slightly amber-toned shades, which is the result of a Guerlain study to map Asian skin tones.

Parure Gold Skin Matte, available worldwide excluding travel retail US, contains a concentration of skincare actives and delivers a luminous matte finish.

It also contains sun protection for everyday use, helping to prevent potential hyperpigmentation.

Designed especially for the European and American market, it comes in 18 shades.

The start of September also saw the travel retail launch of the new La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Parfum Intense, as well as three new creations in the L’Art & La Matière Collection.

La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Parfum Intense marks the 10th Anniversary of La Petite Robe Noire.

It is a new interpretation one of the original The Eau de Parfum Intense, remaining true to its floral gourmand signature, with a touch more potency and a longer lasting formulation.

It is available in Europe and the Middle East travel retail in two formats: 50ml and 100ml.

Born from the L’Art & La Matière Collection is Shades of Oud, a trio of bold new creations – Oud Nude, Cherry Oud et Oud Khôl – that showcase oud wood.

As per the wider collection, these are distributed ‘only in very selected’ stores worldwide.

Finally, there’s the new Abeille Royale Double R Renew & Repair Advanced Serum, which highlights the company’s 15-year history of protecting bees through its Guerlain For Bees conservation programme.

The new serum brings Guerlain’s extensive research into the power of honeys and royal jellies for skin repair to the fore.

Just like the other products in the Abeille Royale collection, it contains a concentration of the company’s Dynamic Blackbee Repair technology – featuring honeys discovered by Guerlain researchers on unspoilt islands enriched with an exclusive royal jelly harvested in France.

Inspired by dermo-cosmetic care and made of 96% of naturally-derived ingredients, the Double R Renew & Repair Advanced Serum has a peeling and lifting effect on the skin.

Honeys from the islands of Ouessant and Ikaria are bio-polyfermented by a patented process to help retighten the epidermal structures while radiance-restoring white honey concentrate combined with resurfacing AHAs and PHAs offers a gentle peeling effect.

TRBusiness also received a preview of the new, honey-infused tinted lip balm KissKiss Bee Glow.

The creamy balm delivers long-lasting hydration for soothed, softened nourished and plumper looking lips.
