Rouge G Naturally marks the first time Guerlain has unveiled a collection dedicated to natural shades for eyes and lips.

Parisian beauty brand Guerlain has unveiled a new collection for eyes and lips which, in a first for the company, is dedicated entirely to natural shades.

With a colour palette for every skin tone, the Rouge G Naturally collection is built around two of the brand’s best-known products: Rouge G and Ombres G.

For the lips, there’s a total of 12 new natural shades of Rouge G to discover, with six satin and six velvet matte formulations.

The beige, rosy and brown shades can be worn for a tone-on-tone veil of colour.

Darker, contrasting shades can be chosen to create a bolder look.

The satin formulations are ideal for those seeking vibrant, hydrated lips whereas the velvet matte version combines softness, depth of colour, and comfort – plus, it stays put for up to 16 hours.

“Rouge G is really easy to use… You can create perfect lips in a single stroke, tracing a precise outline using the streamlined bullet or tint lips by patting it on for a simple hint of colour that is perfect paired with a strong eye,” said Guerlain Makeup Creative Director Violette.

Out of the 12 hues in the new collection, three star shades are in the spotlight.

The ‘secret’ ingredient is a hint of ‘luminous black pigment’ added to each of the new shades, which lightly desaturates the colours and forms a tinted veil when applied that complements all lip tones.

Out of the 12 hues, the there are three star shades in the Naturally lip collection: 159 (a velvety warm beige for a timeless look), 539 (an intense beige with spicy accents), 19 (an intense satiny dark brown).

The lipstick’s luxurious Rouge G cases, which are usually reinvented each season, have received a special makeover for the Naturally collection.

Adorned in grained textures, they are designed to evoke the ‘sensory nature of skin’ through a trio of natural shades: Rosy Nude (a pastel-toned pink), Rosewood (a soft rosy brown), and Berry Brown (a deep brown mixed with burgundy).

The campaign has been shot by French photographer Karim Sadli and features three faces who ’embody’ the collection.

The Ombres G quads feature long-lasting eyeshadow shades, once again inspired by skin tones yet with a subtle spicy touch.

Each curated palette includes three finishes: satin, metallic and matte.

Wild Nudes is a luminous and contrasting array of shades from soft pink and beige to intense matte chocolate hues.

Undressed Brown is described as a ‘natural yet daring quad’, composed of a pale satin pink and metallic copper teamed with an intense matte brown and a warm satin brown.

Also part of the collection is the Noir G mascara, which adds volume and curl to lashes, thanks to its curved brush.

In line with the theme of the collection, it now comes in a warm brown shade for a natural-looking yet intense effect.

The campaign, shot by French photographer Karim Sadli, features three faces who are said to embody the collection: Israeli-born Dorit Revelis, He Cong from China, and the Senegalese-Italian model Maty Fall.
