Newmark Group has announced that its London-based strategic retail property consultancy, Harper Dennis Hobbs Limited, is rebranding to Newmark.

As such, it is adopting the legal entity name of Newmark HDH Limited to ‘seamlessly represent’ the company’s global retail practise and ‘further elevate client service’.

“Since being acquired by Newmark, our team has strengthened client service,” said James Ebel, Vice Chairman – Head of UK and European Retail Markets of Newmark.

“We have continued to deliver for world-leading retail and leisure operators, infused our office division business, and being a part of Newmark has expanded our offerings with a greater network around the globe – especially in North America.”

“The combined strength of HDH’s proven track record of working with world-renowned retailers across the UK and European retail real estate markets and Newmark’s industry reputation in the USA gives us the ability to leverage world-class advice for our client base and utilise the wider platform to further our service to our clients.

“We are looking forward to operating under the Newmark name, and all the benefits it brings to our clients and our team.”

As previously reported, Nadine Heubel was appointed to lead the consultancy’s operations in North America, in August 2022.

Newmark’s UK retail business (acquired in 2019) has experienced ‘consistent organic growth since its founding’, according to the company.

Among its activities is delivering travel retail commercial strategy, securing international airport, airline and cruise ship stores for some of the world’s most recognised brands.
