By Charlotte Turner |
As the TRMarketplace brand hub sign up deadline fast approaches, TRBusiness and Bluedog Productions can now reveal that Ritter Sport, Heineken and Dufre are the latest suppliers to join the impressive roster of exhibitors at the industry’s first digital-led conference and networking event taking place on 28 September – 2 October.
The three new exhibitors join Mondelez and Nuwave who also committed to Brand Hubs and sponsorship recently.
Recognising the many attractive features of the new simple yet sophisticated low-cost, no-gimmick platform, suppliers have told TRBusiness that they are greatly looking forward to the opportunity to connect, chat, host meetings as well as participate in the comprehensive daily e-learning programme, which includes webinars, e-workshops and industry Q&A sessions.
They are also keen to begin coordinating meetings with the many high profile visitors who have already signed up, among them mega international hub airports such as Narita, Amsterdam Schiphol, Manchester Airports Group (MAG) and Groupe ADP who pre-registered for the event within the last week. More news to follow on this soon…
OVERSEAS BUSINESS EXPANSION
As reported, Mondelez World Travel Retail (MWTR) signed up as the confectionery webinar sponsor at TRMarketplace.
In addition, the confectionery giant will showcase its extensive travel retail portfolio via a dedicated brand hub.
With a fixed price to exhibit of GBP£4,495 (ex VAT) – for every company regardless of size – TRBusiness and Bluedog Productions believe that this opportunity is accessible to all. All interested parties, click above for more information and/or to pre-register.
Welsh whisky distillery, Penderyn, who also recently signed up to TRMarkeplace, says it was driven to do so by a desire to expand its business overseas through travel retail.
TRMARKETPLACE TO PLAY A ‘FUNDAMENTAL ROLE’ IN RESTART
While UK airports, such as Heathrow, Gatwick, Cardiff and Bristol, have been core to Penderyn’s duty free and travel retail business up until now, exporting is the Welsh whisky distiller’s top priority as Stephen Davies, Chief Executive, Penderyn Distillery tells TRBusiness.
“We currently export to around 40 countries, but our presence in travel retail outside of the UK is very limited so we really see this as an opportunity to put that right and to grow.”
Nuwave Channel Partners has described the upcoming TRMarketplace digital forum as a ‘great opportunity’ to gain travel retail exposure and share the company’s innovations and ideas for 2021 and beyond.
Having planned to exhibit for the first time at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes which was cancelled due to the pandemic, Hoj Parmar, CEO and Founder, Nuwave Channel Partners, said the company was on ‘the crest of a wave’ with products listed on more than 50 airlines. Its brands were also expanding into ground retail, which meant exhibiting in Cannes was a logical step.
The company’s participation in the upcoming TRMarketplace digital meeting and conference event, will play a fundamental role in these preparations to restart business in travel retail locations.
“TRMarketplace provides us with an extremely cost-effective mechanism for showcasing our variety of Italian brands globally,” he said.
“We know that consumers will not be purchasing in the same way as before. We do believe their priorities will be different.”
