Ildikó Jankovich will take up her new role as Vice President Sales EMEA at Gebr. Heinemann on 1 September.
Ildikó Jankovich will succeed Florian Seidel as Vice President Sales EMEA at Gebr. Heinemann on 1 September, the Hamburg-headquartered travel retailer has announced.
In turn, Seidel has been appointed to the Executive Board of Gebr. Heinemann as Chief Sales Officer, effective 1 July.
Possessing experience across various management positions at Heinemann since 2010, Jankovich joined the European sales team in 2015/2016 and most recently was Managing Director of Heinemann Duty Free & Travel Value at Budapest Airport.
“We are very pleased that with Ildikó we have been able to win over such an experienced manager from within the ranks of Gebr. Heinemannm,” commented CSO Florian Seidel.
“She is a goal- and people-oriented leader with many years of experience in travel retail. Moreover, she knows the needs of travellers and understands what customers expect from us as a travel retailer. With this perfect background, she will decisively advance the growth of Gebr. Heinemann’s European business in the coming years.”
