Henkell Freixenet confirms intention to attend TFWA Cannes World Exhibition

Henkell Cuvee Unique and Freixenet Prosecco DOCG were finalists in the consumer-voted 2020 Travel Retail Awards.

Leading sparkling wine producer Henkell Freixenet is planning to appear at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes (24-28 October).

Christian Witte, Area Manager GTR at Henkell Freixenet Global Export, a regular attendee to the DF&TR industry showpiece event, said: “This exhibition and conference is one of the most important fairs for the global travel retail sector.

“We really look forward to reconnecting with our partners face-to-face, to meet and exchange ideas with new partners but also to show innovations, in case the situation in October with health and safety allow a physical event.”


Sandra Janetzki, SVP, Henkell Freixenet Global Export, added: “Even though the fair might take place in a different way due to several restrictions, we still believe that a physical exhibition and conference is very important and beneficial to rebuild the industry together.

“With our early confirmation to attend TFWA we want to express our support to TFWA and the whole global travel retail industry.”

Henkell Freixenet exports its brands to more than 150 countries and has subsidiaries in 30 of them.

Its portfolio includes brands such as Freixenet, Henkell, Mionetto Prosecco, Fürst von Metternich, Segura Viudas, Mía, Mangaroca Batida de Côco and others.
