German porcelain manufacturer Hering Berlin is ready to extend its wares into travel retail across a global network of destinations.

Destined to unveil at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition and Conference in Singapore (6-10 May), Hering Berlin’s handmade Explore collection takes its cues from modern art and culture and is the inspiration of Founder, Designer and CEO Stefanie Hering.

The Explore collection has been created with the ‘mindful luxury’ consumer in mind, and comprises 25 objects, available to purchase either individually or in seven carefully curated sets.

Finishes include bisque, partial glazing, painted, unpainted or polished gold, with the ability to combine decorative options. Prices for single items range between €40 ($48) to €1,251 ($1,502).

ARTISTIC & FUNCTIONAL

Stefanie Hering is a trained porcelain Master Craftswoman and acts as the face of the brand, its international award-winning designs and visionary philosophy.

The result is the creation of fine porcelain objects that play on the artistic and functional elements of design.

Many of Hering Berlin’s items have featured in luxury restaurants and hotels, with the Explore Collection aimed at the exclusive giftware market for luxury destinations.

The company says that in a globalised world, Hering Berlin’s roots rest in its localised production.

“Our focus in the travel retail sector will be on major airports to begin with, especially in Europe, Asia, and South America, as well as cruise lines and luxury yachts,” said Stefanie Hering.

“In addition to the high-quality gifts segment, we also want to strategically open up the luxury restaurant segment at top airports.

“The first orders have already been fulfilled and suitable high-level partners have been found in the travel retail segment.”
