Cloetta GTR says its brands have been able to grow despite the challenges faced by the global travel retail industry.

Cloetta Global Travel Retail has described as a ‘great honour’ its designation as ‘Highly Recommended’ in the Best Confectionery and Fine Foods Product category at the consumer-voted Global Travel Retail Awards 2022.

The company gained recognition for The Jelly Bean Factory 36 Flavour Mix 175g Tube (pictured below) at the dazzling event, which took place on Monday 3 October at the Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes during the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference (2-6 October).

“While reflecting on the successful new product launches of the past year (Red Band Sharing Bags: Swedish Fish & Sour Suckers, Kex Sharing Bag); brand refreshes (The Jelly Bean Factory); and collaborations (PEZ), Cloetta Global Travel Retail is always looking for innovative ways to grow the sugar confectionery category,” said the company in a statement.

“In line with growing consumer demand for more natural options in the confectionery offering, Cloetta Global Travel Retail will be adding a novel product to its range, which launched in 2022 under the umbrella of Red Band. More info on this product and the first listing to be announced soon.”

Cloetta Global Travel Retail was exhibiting in the Harbour Village on the M/Y Antisan and praised the TFWA summit for the opportunities presented to connect with existing and potential customers.
