Hume Brophy’s Chris Mehigan steps up to Managing Director; joins senior team

Respected strategist Chris Mehigan has been named as Managing Director, Transport and Mobility at international communications firm Hume Brophy.

Mehigan, familiar within duty free and travel retail circles for his advocacy work, will steer the company’s practice on worldwide transport and mobility and champion its strategy and growth.

He will report to Hume Brophy CEO Conall McDevitt and continue to support Co-founder John Hume.

In taking on the newly created role, Mehigan will join the company’s senior executive team.

“This appointment is the latest step in Chris’s career within Hume Brophy, a natural progression which recognises his emergence as one of the most experienced and respected advocacy experts in Europe on transport policy and communications strategy,” commented McDevitt.

“For over a decade he has supported Hume Brophy clients in their engagement efforts with the European institutions and member state governments, helping to place them at the heart of relevant debates and navigating complex regulatory challenges.”
