After launching the Global Travel Retail (GTR) Community platform, the Institute of International Retail (IIR) can now reveal that it will hold a webinar entitled ‘Our New Normal’: Career Challenges and Opportunities within Travel Retail, next week.

 

IIR is inviting all travel retail professionals to its free webinar, which will take place on Wednesday, 8 July 2020 at 1:00 PM GMT+1/ 2:00 PM CET. Registration is available here.

 

IIR will partner with TRBusiness for TRMarketplace – which will be the first fully-digital meeting and conference event – powering its comprehensive ‘Knowledge & Insights’ programme together with m1nd-set, first announced in May.

 

NEW DIRECTIONS

IIR says its July webinar will ‘help empower travel retail professionals to create the right mindset to embrace their careers within the industry as we continue to face challenges’. It will also explore ways in which professionals can improve their sense of direction, confidence, capability and how to successfully navigate through a changing environment.

The webinar will be led by Colin Lewis, CMO of OpenJaw Technologies. Colin has over 25 years of international travel experience working in UK, France, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, China, Ireland and over the years has worked for big brands such as Thomas Cook, bmi-British Midland, CityJet.
