Travel Retail Awards With its dynamic new set-up, victorious moments and high-energy afterparty – the best of the action from the Global Travel Retail Awards 2025 is captured in our official photo gallery, which is available now to view, share and download.

The eighth annual edition of the awards – the DF&TR industry’s only consumer-voted awards programme – took place on 30 September at Hôtel Martinez in Cannes to coincide with the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference.

Attendees enjoyed an immersive evening featuring a drinks reception, a premium dinner, a pleasingly pacey ceremony, and an afterparty featuring a live band.

“Thank you to everyone who has taken part this year’s Global Travel Retail Awards whether as an entrant, attendee or partner,” said Nigel Hardy and Janice Hook, Co-Owners & Joint CEOs, TRBusiness.

“The atmosphere at the ceremony was electric and we are incredibly proud that the DF&TR industry has got behind this initiative, which not only gives consumers a voice but is designed to deliver a boost to the business of those companies whose products and initiatives consumers truly rate.

“Consumer feedback plays a vital role in ensuring the ongoing success of the travel retail ecosystem. To that end, we thank our data partner m1nd-set for providing the base of the consumer voting, which marries perfectly with the opinions of our influencer judges. We encourage all those recognised to capitalise on their new-found Voted by Shoppers status.”

Earning the ‘Voted by Shoppers’ seal of approval is a monumental achievement and recipients of the Winner, Highly Recommended and Finalist accolades can leverage their success by utilising the logo on their packaging, in their promotions/communications and at the point of sale.

Research by m1nd-set has shown that 22% of consumers are more likely to purchase a product displaying the ‘Voted by Shoppers’ Finalist logo and nearly a third (31%) of consumers are more likely to purchase a product displaying the ‘Voted by Shoppers’ Winner logo.

“Having a consumer-voted awards programme is vital for the travel retail industry as it truly reflects the honest and unbiased opinions of travelling shoppers,” commented Peter Mohn, Owner & CEO, m1nd-set.
