The one-litre bottle of the popular herbal liqueur can be found on shelf from April.

Travel retail shoppers will soon be able to get their hands on new channel-exclusive packaging for Jägermeister Manifest Travellers’ Edition following a redesign.

The one-litre bottle of the popular herbal liqueur can be found on shelf from April in a refreshed matte black, riveted box featuring shiny embossed elements and a bottle-shaped window, Mast-Jägermeister SE has announced.

Highlights include a bronze interior and outer edges designed to reflect the spirit’s super-premium character, alongside a new how-to-drink user guide on the back of the packaging in addition to key drinking characteristics: ‘Versatile, Facetted, Balanced, Rounded and Smooth’.

Tobias Witte, Vice President Global Travel Retail, Mast Jägermeister said: “The new Travellers’ Edition packaging showcases Jägermeister Manifest’s super-premium position. It is bold and disruptive and challenges the status quo.”

Launched into global travel retail in April 2017, the cask-aged Jägermeister Manifest draws on a higher herbal balance recipe using 56 herbs, roots, fruits and blossoms from the original Jägermeister together with a new macerate that adds a broader spread of botanicals, including a vanilla-inspired woody note.

A diverse and intense herbal composition is countered by a fine wheat distillate in the blending process, according to the brand.

The liquid is aged for about 15 months in fresh barrels and registers at 38% ABV.
