Diageo Global Travel is to launch Johnnie Walker Black Label Triple Cask Edition exclusively in travel retail this month.

Johnnie Walker Black Label Triple Cask Edition is a limited-edition whisky inspired by the lighter flavours and aromas found in the iconic Johnnie Walker Black Label.

This new blend is only available in Dufry travel retail stores with a recommended retail price of £28 ($37). It offers travellers a new and exceptional flavour experience and will be distributed in over 300 stores worldwide from this month.

The development of this rich, sweet and spicy Scotch has been led by Johnnie Walker master blender, Jim Beveridge and expert blender Chris Clark.

This new expression has been crafted using a blend of malt and grain whiskies from distilleries such as Cardhu and Cameronbridge and has been finished in casks previously used to mature American bourbon, then Scotch whisky and finally Caribbean pot still rum.

The result is a wonderfully rich Scotch with layers of sweet vanilla and ginger aromas, with notes of exotic fruit and brown sugars.
