Kate Moss lends new face

By Doug Newhouse |

Vogue Eyewear has recruited supermodel Kate Moss as the star of its stylish spring/summer 2011 advertising campaign, following in the footsteps of Gisele Bündchen and Daria Werbowy.

Moss has been chosen by the Italian brand to lead the campaign as a ‘fashion-world icon, emblem of contemporary style and inspiration of designers and international photographers.’

Shot by photographer and long-time friend Mario Testino in the glamorous surroundings of London’s Syon Park, home to the Duke of Northumberland, the Kate Moss campaign centres around a mini collection of six Vogue Eyewear sunglasses and eyeglasses, as chosen by the model.

THE RANGE
‘Sophisticated in style’, the two-colour acetate frames have soft, round lines and range in colour from wisteria to poppy, topaz and dark blue, timeless black and tortoiseshell and come in both gradient and solid colour.

Daniela Policastro, Vogue Eyewear Brand Manager, said: “We are excited about having Kate Moss as spokesperson for the new Vogue Eyewear advertising campaign and about working once again with Mario Testino. Vogue Eyewear once more confirms itself the mirror of new trends and at the same time knows how to show off the individual style of every woman”.

The advertising campaign shots can now be viewed on the website vogue-eyewear.com”and will run in the major international fashion monthlies and weeklies from Spring 2011.
