King Power Group Hong Kong’s Sunil Tuli among ‘Most Influential Leaders’

Sunil Tuli has been presented with an award for the ‘Most Influential Leaders’ at the Global Mice and Luxury Travel Congress Awards, held in Mumbai, India on 12 February.

Tuli is currently Group Chief Executive Officer of King Power Group (HK) and a veteran of the industry, which he joined in 1984.

He entered with the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) where he was responsible for New Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta, Madras and Trivandrum Airport Duty Free in India, before moving to Weitnauer (Dufry) in 1990.

During his time at the company, he held several senior management positions, including Chief Operating Officer at Weitnauer Asia Pacific and Middle East before leaving in 2002 to join King Power Group (HK) as Managing Director Travel Retail and Duty Free

He is a founding member of the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA), where he served as President for six years, and currently sits on the board.

In a message to TRBusiness, Tuli expressed his delight and honour to receive the award in recognition of his service to the industry.
