Korres revamps men’s range with modern apothecary theme

By Kevin Rozario |

Greek skincare house Korres has introduced a men’s range focused on natural ingredients but featuring ‘old school’ male scents and recyclable packaging.

The collection uses a modern apothecary theme in tune with the brand’s homeopathic pharmacy roots and it does not contain synthetics such as mineral oils, silicones, propylene glycol or ethanolamines.

Korres, which is in two locations at Athens Airport, has six products in the new line-up: Absinthe Shave Cream For A Close & Smooth Shave (€23.00 for 150ml), Marigold & Ginseng Light-Weight Aftershave Balm (€18.00 for 150ml), Ginseng Facial Fluid Gel Cleanser For Men’s Skin  (€18.00 for 150ml), Ruscus & Chestnut Anti-Ageing Cream For Men’s Skin SPF15 (€26.50 for 50ml), Borage Anti-Shine Moisturiser For Men’s Skin SPF6  (€23.00 for 50ml), and Magnesium & Wheat Proteins Toning & Hair-Strengthening Shampoo  (€11.00 for 250ml).

Unusual ingredients are a highlight of the range. Absinthe is claimed to be anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and refreshing; ginseng is said to fight fatigue, increase productivity and concentration; chestnut -leaf extract possesses anti-bacterial, anti-aging, astringent and toning properties; and ruscus – also known as Butcher’s Broom – is a compact, evergreen shrub that is claimed to offer relief from a number of symptoms caused by chronic venous problems.
