La Prairie unveils remastered Skin Caviar Luxe Cream best-seller

The latest evolution of a skincare icon.

La Prairie is poised to introduce a new, updated version of its best-selling Skin Caviar Luxe Cream. It will be available in travel retail from September.

The original Skin Caviar anti-ageing cream was created in 1987. This latest evolution incorporates a new focus on lifting and firming.

It fuses newly-developed caviar micro-nutrients with caviar premier, to offer a formula designed to support the skin’s metabolism and restore its youthful structure.

The new caviar micro-nutrients are described as an ultra-rich source of more than 300 natural nutrients, all of which stimulate essential metabolic activities and pathways in the skin.

They are complemented by La Prairie’s patented Exclusive Cellular Complex, which also helps to lift, firm, smooth and nourish.

Two different textures will be available: the original rich, velvety Skin Caviar Luxe Cream, and a lighter Skin Caviar Luxe Cream Sheer.

Available in two different textures, the remastered Skin Caviar Luxe Cream will incorporate a renewed focus on lifting and firming.

Both formulations will be presented within the brand’s signature cobalt blue-coloured jar – now redesigned using recycled and recyclable glass – that pays homage to the works of artist Niki de Saint Phalle.

To support the launch, La Prairie has collaborated with award-winning designer Sabine Marcelis to create The Cobalt House – an immersive and interactive design environment that blends beauty and science to transport guests into the world of Skin Caviar.

The Cobalt House was premiered at La Prairie’s VIP Collectors Lounge at Art Basel in June, prior to its worldwide roll-out in September.
