L’ABSOLU LIPS exclusive

By Doug Newhouse |

L’ABSOLU LIPS is Lancôme’s latest make-up palette designed exclusively for travellers which will become available worldwide next month. This is at the heart of the beauty company’s travel retail summer event calendar entitled ‘Summer Escape’, in Europe, Middle-East & Africa and Americas (= in June).

The new product will be available exclusively at airports, duty free shops and on board certain airlines.

The company said that the new palette is designed exclusively for travellers and comprises an ultra-thin 15mm black lacquered case that moves easily from pocket to purse.

It adds that there is a choice from deeper red to beige and pink shades in the selection of five lipsticks from the L’Absolu Rouge Collection, plus an ultra-shiny gloss which is ‘easy to wear’ for all occasions.

The various shades are: From New York with love – Rouge Caprice; From Paris with love – Rouge Rayonnant; From Sao Paulo with love – Rose Rhapsodie; From Bali with love – Beige mirage; From Melbourne with love – Rose Nature; From the French Riviera with love – Lip Gloss.

For the complexion, Lancôme says that the concealer erases dark circles, ‘leaving even the most jet-lagged skin radiating unfading freshness. To define the eyes, this palette also contains six soft eye shadow shades, a black khôl eyeliner pencil and the Virtuôse mascara.

There are also three shades for the lips with ‘ delicate shades with high-comfort textures’, which the company says, add volume and shine. A mini lip pencil provides the ‘perfect finishing touch’.
