Lacoste now boasts more than 170 boutiques worldwide and travel retail remains an important channel for the brand.

“Looking to the future, Lacoste continues to leverage the travel retail channel, strengthening or expanding in new geographical areas, developing new channels (online duty free and cruises) and new ways of connecting with consumers before, during and after their trips,” says the company.

LACOSTE WELCOMES ‘NEW CROCODILE’

The new pop up in Haitang Bay will be in place from 1-26 June to celebrate the French Open and the announcement of new brand spokesmodel or ‘New Crocodile’, tennis superstar Novak Djokovic.

“Thanks to this 64sqm, the pop up [offers] three different experiences: an exhibition dedicated to the legendary French tennis champion René Lacoste; a retail area to purchase our new collection and an interactive game,” adds Lacoste.

“To celebrate the French Open, customers are invited to come and play tennis on digital screens and get a chance to win a special gift.”
