Lancôme’s VISIONNAIRE set for September
By Doug Newhouse |
L’Oréal Produits de Luxe International and Lancôme have announced the launch of VISIONNAIRE [LR 2412 4%] Advanced Skin Corrector into global travel retail this September.
Lancôme says this new product is its first skincare formulation created to ‘fundamentally recreate truly beautiful skin’, which is based on a unique molecule [LR 2412 4%] with optimal tolerance.
The beauty company says that this new molecule is able to ‘self-propel’ itself through the layers of the epidermis to set off a series of tissular micro-transformations.
The company said: “The result is that skin is visibly transformed; the texture is finer; wrinkles are erased; pigmentary and vascular irregularities are reduced; and pores are tightened.
SUCCESSFUL CLINICAL TRIALS
Lancôme added that a clinical study carried out on 108 women of all complexions (Hispanic, Caucasian, Asian and African) demonstrated the effectiveness of VISIONNAIRE [LR 2412 4%] Advanced Skin Corrector on four beautiful skin criteria: wrinkles, pores, imperfections – such as acne marks and scars – and radiance.
It adds that after six weeks of twice-daily use, women of all complexions reported improvements of between 79% and 89% on all the aforementioned criteria. Similarly, after eight weeks of use, a clinical before-and-after study of 36 women showed a 7% improvement in vascular unevenness.
Perhaps the most significant statement from Lancôme is that the new formulation is so powerful and effective that more than one out of two women tempted by a cosmetic procedure decided to postpone it (testing for this new product involved no less than 800 women).
The company says that its advertising campaign also highlights the visible improvements of VISIONNAIRE [LR 2412 4%] Advanced Skin Corrector, featuring the faces of women from different origins – again, Hispanic, Caucasian, African and Asian.
