A strong line-up of influential industry stakeholders have confirmed their participation in the TR Consumer Forum 2022, which is taking place from 4-6 September in Limassol, Cyprus.

Airports joining the industry’s only consumer-centric conference, organised by TRBusiness and m1nd-set, include London Heathrow Airport, Munich Airport, Vantage Airport Group, Hermes Airports and Athens Airport.

They will be joined by executives from leading retailers including Aer Rianta International, Cyprus Duty Free (the Host Sponsor for the event), Dufry, Lagardère Travel Retail, Dubai Duty Free and Gateretail.

As the TR Consumer Forum agenda continues to develop, speakers taking to the stage will be representing Athens Airport, Circle Square, Altavia, European Travel Retail Confederation (ETRC), Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA), Middle East & Africa Duty Free Association (MEADFA), The Design Solution, Nestlé International Travel Retail, Bacardi, Pernod Ricard, Artisan People and Blackjack.

This is in addition to attendees from companies including Accolade Wines, Imperial Tobacco, Airport Commercial Services, Duty Free Global and Edrington, among others.

The event has secured a roster of high-level sponsors, with Pernod Ricard the latest company to come on board as a Platinum Sponsor.

Michael Barrett, Head of Events and CSR at TRBusiness, commented: “We saw last year how the consumer-focused content generated so much buzz. This enthusiasm and excitement has not waned.

“We are seeing a huge interest among airports, retailers, brands and other partners to continue the discussion and share their latest consumer-facing investments and insights. This is what makes this conference so valuable to attendees; there is a palpable desire to share so the industry can bounce back better.

“There are a great deal of extremely interesting experiences and innovations, which delegates are going to hear about during the two-day conference.”

At the two-day conference, delegates will be brought up to date on the latest consumer perspectives on a range of topics, from how the customer journey is being redefined, to the changing dynamics of purchase drivers, including social media influencers, in-store tech and the growing influence of sales associates.

In addition, consumer insights by m1nd-set worth six figures in value if independently commissioned, will be revealed exclusively at the event, giving all those attending a masterclass in catering to consumer expectations.

“The stellar line-up of speakers from leading industry stakeholders is a great testament to how the conference and content are valued,” said Peter Mohn, CEO & Owner at m1nd-set. “It’s also a huge endorsement to see so many returning and new sponsors supporting the conference.

“There has never been such a critical moment to understand how shopper behaviour among international travellers is evolving and the support for the conference among speakers and sponsors highlights this,” added Mohn.

As well as delivering first-class information, the TR Consumer Forum offers delegates valuable face-to-face networking opportunities.

There are also some great prizes to be won. All registered delegates will be entered into a draw to win up to €9,000 in duty free shopping vouchers, courtesy of Cyprus Duty Free, as well as a champagne helicopter ride over London, courtesy of Partner Sponsor Artisan People.

In addition, the first 200 delegates to register will be entered into a prize draw to win one of five gifts from Platinum Sponsor E. Gluck (includes over 100 delegates already registered).

You can take advantage of the early bird discount of £595, which is available until 18 July.
