Leonidas appoints William Legallais in key travel retail managerial position

William Legallais joins Leonidas as Travel Retail Manager for the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Americas regions.

Belgian chocolatier Leonidas has appointed William Legallais as Travel Retail Manager for the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Americas regions.

Legallais, who speaks English and Spanish in addition to his native French, is a sales and marketing professional. He has 30 years’ travel retail experience, primarily in premium confectionery.

Beginning his career in the oil industry, he eventually made his first foray into DF&TR with former French state-owned tobacco monopoly Seita. He then joined Godiva in 2006 before becoming Travel Retail Manager, Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa at Neuhaus two years later.

WELCOME ADDITION

Nelly Sannwald, Global Travel Retail Manager said: “We are delighted to have William on board as part of the Leonidas family. With his knowledge of the channel and the confectionery category, his contribution will be valuable for the successful development of this strategic business unit.”

Leonidas, which has added a third assortment to its ‘For You’ gifting collection, will exhibit at the upcoming TFWA Cannes event (Blue Village D24).
