L’Oréal TR reinvents Roger & Gallet Eau de Cologne
By Pepi Sappal |
L’Oréal Travel Retail has recreated the Roger & Gallet Eau de Cologne for the 21st Century.
Extraits de Cologne contains an alluring selection of fragrances: tuberose, neroli, tea, verbena and blackcurrant, and will be available from the end of September in European travel retail.
The rollout will continue in Asia Pacific in October, where the brand will list for the first time at CDFG’s Haitang Bay International Shopping Mall.
An ‘event podium’ will allow travellers passing through the complex to test the brand.
A FUN AND NATURAL ALTERNATIVE
L’Oréal Travel Retail hopes that this new collection of fragrances, which ‘contains between 87% and 90% of ingredients of natural origin’, will equally appeal to today’s more engaged and modern conscientious consumers, looking for fun and natural alternatives.
Back in 1862, Armand Roger & Charles Gallet created the Eau de Cologne from 18 natural distilled essences, renowned for their ‘miraculous’ healing properties, which quickly became very popular with young Parisians.
