Luke Gorringe joins travel accessory company Trtl as Director of Int Retail

Former Delhi Duty Free Services CEO Luke Gorringe has been appointed Director of International Retail at travel accessory brand Trtl.

Travel accessory brand Trtl has appointed Luke Gorringe as Director of International Retail.

Gorringe previously held senior management roles within Aer Rianta International, including CEO at Delhi Duty Free Services and General Manager in Indonesia.

Trtl (pronounced Turtle) is a Glasgow based brand which designs and retails travel products. The aim of each item is to solve common travel problems from sleeping inflight to packing carry on.

After success with its Trtl Travel Pillow and travel accessories on major e-commerce platforms, the company is focusing on international retail and the travel retail channel.

KEY AIRPORT LISTINGS

The brand is already available in key airports having secured listings with Dixons and WHSmith in Europe and with Brookstone in the US. The full range of Trtl travel products is also available on Amazon and their own e-commerce site.

Gorringe said: “I am delighted to join the team at Trtl. It’s a young, cool brand that are dominating the category within e-commerce. I am excited to be given the opportunity to further contribute to this success and drive the portfolio within travel retail on a global level.”

The company will showcase its products at the upcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition show in Singapore (should the show go ahead amid the ongoing coronavirus situationand later in the year at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.
