M1nd-set rewards Susset, Estrada and Marchesini with key promotions

Leading Swiss travel and travel retail research firm m1nd-set has promoted several of its staff into key roles.

Travel Retail Research Director Clara Susset rises to Chief Operating Officer, while Project Manager Camila Estrada is named Head of Travel Retail Research.

Meanwhile, Project & Business Development Manager Anna Marchesini ascends to Head of Business Development.

The appointments recognise their contributions towards m1nd-set’s growth and development in recent years and follows a difficult 2020 in which the firm successfully navigated the unprecedented Covid-19 crisis on travel and travel retail.

M1nd-set, co-organiser and host alongside TRBusiness for the forthcoming Travel Retail Consumer Forum and long-running Travel Retail Awards partner, has reported a positive start to 2021.

Despite the downturn in global passenger traffic, m1nd-set has witnessed an uptick in demand for its consumer insights and data via the Business 1ntelligence Service (B1S) customer segmentation and traffic data tool.

The company’s recent Hainan study, key highlights of which will be presented at the upcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Hainan Special Edition in June, was the most successful syndicated project in m1nd-set’s history.

A very busy few months is thanks to the marked increase in interest from returning clients across all categories and sectors, adds m1nd-set.

In addition, the company will venture into the conference business for the first time with the launch of the aforementioned Travel Retail Consumer Forum (20-22 September), the industry’s first physical event dedicated solely to sharing research and intelligence from a consumer perspective.
