In this edition m1nd-set tells us that 41% of impulse purchases are made on products which the shopper had never bought before. Most frequently these purchases are made on confectionery, followed by souvenirs & gifts and fashion & accessories.
Interestingly, 54% of impulse shoppers do not interact with sales staff and almost a quarter of them (23%) are buying to treat themselves.
