MAC launches glam gift sets for the Holiday season

MAC cosmetics is launching its Holiday Collection 2012 into travel retail with a focus on gift sets; Fabulousness and Guilty Passions.
MAC has created some uber feminine cosmetics for the Glamour Daze range, as well as two different ranges of gift sets named Fabulousness and Guilty Passions, for the Christmas [and Thanksgiving – Ed] period.
The Glamour Daze collection evolves around “the drama of the dressing room, the glamour of getting ready to step out for the holidays,” says MAC. Products include Extra Dimension Eye Shadows, Extra Dimension Skinfinish, Fluidline liners, Lipsticks, Powder Blush, Kohl Power Eye Pencil, Lipglasses, and Nail Lacquers.

But MAC’s Holiday 2012 portfolio would not be complete without its gift sets. Fabulousness comprises three different gift set collections; Fabulousness – eye shadow compacts encased in satin-tufted cases with a black patent bow accent; All for Glamour – face and touch up kits and Primped out – leopard-print lip and eye look bags, and brush kits

‘GIVING IN TO GUILTY PASSIONS’
Guilty Passions consists of six different makeup kits – three contain four lip glosses and the other three crushed metallic eyeshadows.
“Giving in to Guilty Passions, from champagne and macaroons to a dazzling party dress and seductive stilettos, to eyes that shimmer and lips that glisten,” says MAC. The sets are packaged in round, chevron-print boxes trimmed with a patent black bow.
And MAC is also keen to promote this year’s Viva Glam products; Viva Glam Ricky Lip Conditioner and Nicki Lipstick. According to MAC, “every cent of the selling price of all Viva Glam products is donated to the MAC AIDS Fund to support men, women and children affected by with HIV and AIDS.”
