Maui Jim adds to ladies portfolio with Ginger sunglasses

By Charlotte Turner |

Maui Jim polarized sunglasses launches ladies Ginger collection for variable light conditions.

Ginger (Style #221, $299 US MSRP) is a midsize, round frame that is “ultra-chic and feminine” according to the brand and comes in four colours – Charcoal, Mauve, Chocolate and Matte Sandstone.

The Ginger range also has three lens colour options for different light conditions: Neutral Grey for bright sunny days and HCL Bronze or Maui Rose lenses for variable light conditions.

“The MauiGradient lenses are darker at the top and gradually get lighter towards the bottom so they are terrific for driving, shopping or having dinner with friends,” says the brand.

Maui Jim sunglassesCOLOUR ENHANCING

“Known for the clarity of their lenses, Maui Jim’s Ginger sunglasses have SuperThin(ST) Glass lenses that are 20% thinner and lighter than conventional glass lenses. They are durable, scratch- and saltwater-resistant, and optically clear.”

The lenses use up to nine layers of proprietary PolarizedPlus2 lens technology that Maui Jim claims blocks 100% of UV rays and 99.9% of glare. “The colours you see are significantly enhanced through the use of three rare earth elements embedded in the lenses,” adds Maui Jim.

“With Ginger, you get the best eye protection on the market packaged in a high-style pair of sunglasses.”
