Maui Jim Sunglasses is continuing with its rapid expansion into the global duty free and travel retail market with new listings reported in Miami, Auckland, Wellington and Kansai.

Silvana Garcia, Maui Jim Sales Manager Duty Free The Americas and Caribbean said that the company is delighted to have secured a listing with Duty Free Americas in the new D terminal occupied by American Airlines at Miami International Airport.

‘The state-of-the-art DFA store at Miami is an excellent location for Maui Jim with a high throughput of holidaymakers from the US and beyond and we are already generating excellent sales,’ commented Garcia. ‘We selected a range of Maui Jim classics and some of our latest super lightweight styles for display in a 36-unit personalized tower and they are flying off the shelf.’

Ben Arriola, Manager Duty Free Sales Asia and Australasia for Maui Jim added that he is also pleased that the brand has just made its debut in travel retail in Japan. He has secured a potentially lucrative listing for Maui Jim with Asaki International Ltd./Blanc de Blancs Co. Ltd. at Kansai International Airport.

Maui Jim sunglasses have also been launched at Auckland Airport in the last month through JR Duty Free and will shortly appear in their store at Wellington Airport.
