Mixologist’s Garden set to launch 20g format drink garnishes in travel retail

The freeze dried drink garnished are available in six flavours in travel retail.

The Mixologist’s Garden range of freeze dried drink garnishes will soon be available to buy in airports and border stores in a 20g format, with the brand securing listings with ‘major operators’.

The details of the listings are due to be revealed soon so stay close to TRBusiness for updates.

“We’re seeing a phenomenal response to the brand and it’s being seen as a perfect solution for bar settings as well as a new and exciting added-value purchase for retailers to offer their shoppers,” said former NPD President Garry Stasiulevicuis, who represents Mixologist’s Garden in travel retail markets.

“Retailers, brands and of course customers see the fruits as a perfect addition to any drink and the convenience they provide add huge benefit.

“The feedback we get is that as the fruit rehydrates the fresh taste, vibrant colour and aroma of our range is way better than often lacklustre fresh fruit served in bars’.

“The garnishes are versatile and can be used to enhance the flavour and appearance of a variety of drinks, including cocktails, mocktails, and soft drinks.”

The travel retail range was showcased at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes in October, 2022.

It’s available in six flavours as follows: Lemon, Lime, Strawberry, Raspberry, Orange and Blueberry.

“The freeze-drying process removes all moisture, while the fruit retains its flavour and texture for a long shelf life, making them perfect for home use or in a commercial setting,” said Stasiulevicuis.

Company representatives will be available at The 2023 Summit of the America in West Palm Beach later this month.

Mixologist’s Garden has also recently launched a new DTC site allowing consumers’ direct access to four flavours in the range.
