Mondelēz introduces new Toblerone Crispy Caramel GTR limited edition

Mondelēz World Travel Retail (WTR) has unveiled a new addition to its Toblerone portfolio: the travel retail exclusive Toblerone Crispy Caramel 340g.
The limited edition will be available in the channel for six months, giving travellers the opportunity to buy a special, first-of-a-kind flavour for Toblerone.
Toblerone Crispy Caramel combines premium Swiss milk chocolate with crispy caramel pieces, to deliver a distinctive new texture and taste profile.
According to Nielson research, chocolate and caramel is the second best-selling flavour in domestic markets, and the third most popular in global travel retail.
Mondelēz (WTR) noted that the new launch was designed to generate excitement in-store, encourage purchase, and attract both loyal Toblerone fans and new consumers seeking self-purchase and gifting options.
The introduction supports the company’s ‘Destination: Value’ vision, which calls for a reimagining of duty free as a channel where “the journey is the reward”. The focus remains on creating offerings that resonate with travellers and deliver value.
