Confectionery giant Mondelez World Travel Retail (WTR) has released its Travel Collection, a channel-exclusive sharing pack featuring prominent chocolate brands.

The mix of products includes  Toblerone Milk Tiny, Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cadbury Dairy Milk with crunchy Wholenut, Milka Alpine Milk and Milka with crunchy pieces of Oreo.

Mondelez said the Travel Collection’s global launch shows its commitment to actioning its “evolved” category vision.

By progressing its portfolio, it is aiming to elevate confectionery awareness in travel retail, deliver unique experiences, increase penetration and drive conversion.

The sharing bag format is said to be the “perfect gift” to take home for any occasion.

It will strategically hit shelves in time for end-of-year travels, appealing to families holidaying during the festive season.

Beyond Q4, the Travel Collection will be available throughout 2024 at airports worldwide.

Travel Collection: A ‘commitment’ to grow confectionery

“A mix of everyone’s favourite chocolates in a convenient sharing bag – what could be better than that when you’re on-the-go- in an airport?

Earlier this month, Mondelez unveiled its first sustainability-driven activation in the Levant region at Jordan’s Queen Alia International Airport.

In partnership with Avolta (formerly Dufry/Autogrill), the confectioner highlighted its Ghana Mobility Initiative and the Toblerone brand’s the Bag That Gives Back campaign.

In October, Mondelez extended its Toblerone line with the launch of Tobler pralines as part of an ongoing commitment from Mondelez to evolve its product offer to delight travellers.
