Gerard Murray is leaving Godiva after eight years to join leading luggage brand Samsonite in the newly created position of Travel Retail Director.

Murray said: ‘I am thoroughly looking forward to this exciting new opportunity to establish Samsonite as the leading luggage brand in the Duty Free and Travel Retail sector, a position it has enjoyed on the worldwide domestic market for many years.
‘I have just completed eight very enjoyable and very successful years with Godiva. I have learned a great deal and have had the opportunity to work with a great team on a great brand. I wish them all well for the future and would like to thank them publicly for their support over the years.’
