New COO Nathalie Roelands has been ‘integral’ to DFG’s growth in recent years.

Specialist DF&TR wines and spirits company Duty Free Global (DFG) has promoted Nathalie Roelands to Chief Operations Officer.

Netherlands-born Roelands has spent the last four years as the company’s Sales Manager.

In her new position, she will have oversight of key global accounts including Gebr. Heinemann, Lagardère Travel Retail, Dufry Group and Lotte Duty Free.

Roelands will also oversee the regional business in North America and South America, which has benefitted from the appointment of Michael Pasternak and John Gallagher, respectively, in recent months.

‘PERFECTLY PLACED’

Barry Geoghegan, Founder, Duty Free Global commented: “Nathalie has been an integral part of DFG’s growth over the last number of years and is perfectly placed to take on this important new role as we grow our business in new regions with our fantastic brand partners in global travel retail.”

Roelands added: “I’m excited to take on this pivotal role as the travel retail industry begins to reopen and I look forward to working closely with our global operators on our world class portfolio.”
