Ukrainian vodka producer Nemiroff ranked number three in the travel retail vodka category in 2018, the IWSR has confirmed.
Nemiroff achieved nine-litre case volumes of 348,140 in 2018. This total also includes the Nemirovskaya brand. The IWSR will release its 2019 data in May.
“In 2018 and continuing through 2019, we have strategically worked to increase our sales and distribution by appointing well respected marketing and distribution partners who have the capability of working both on- and off- premise to position the brand as world class within the vodka category,” said Yuriy Sorochynskiy, CEO, Nemiroff.
Nemiroff says it has refined its approach to DF&TR marketing by understanding the nuances of each market – from POS to promotions – resulting in strengthened brand perception.
Last year, Nemiroff was named the first official vodka partner of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
The vodka brand says plans to increase travel retail and duty free activations around UFC events are already underway.
Nemiroff boasts a heritage of more than 150 years and is available in more than 80 countries.
