Scheduling quality face-to-face time with industry colleagues is top of mind as we emerge from the pandemic and TR Consumer Forum 2022 delegates can take advantage of a multitude of networking and social events.
The acclaimed event takes place from 4-6 September at the Parklane hotel in Limassol, Cyprus.
From the Opening Cocktail on Sunday 4 September, which is being staged on the hotel’s Great Lawns, to the Closing Cocktail on Tuesday 6 September to mark the end of the two-day conference – both cocktails are kindly sponsored by Beam Suntory and Stoli – there is ample opportunity to meet with representatives from leading airports, cruise ships and suppliers, among others.
The travel retail’s only consumer-centric conference, organised by TRBusiness and m1nd-set, is now in its second instalment and is cementing its place as a leading annual diary date on the industry’s busy event calendar.
Attendees confirmed to date include APTRA, Aer Rianta International, Athens international Airport, Cyprus Duty Free (the Host Sponsor for the event), Dubai Duty Free, Dufry, ETRC, Gategroup, Heathrow Airport, Hermes Airports, International Duty Free Trading & Agencies, Kaner Duty Free, Lagardère Travel Retail, MEADFA, Munich Airport, Riyadh Airports and Vantage Airport Group, among many others.
“With the return to travel, industry stakeholders are pushing forward with strategies to get business back on track to pre-pandemic levels and reconnecting with colleagues and contacts is a key part of that,” said Michael Barrett, Head of Events and Corporate Social Responsibility at TRBusiness.
“The TR Consumer Forum combines the best of both worlds – an informative global conference agenda with ample networking opportunities.”
There are 11 opportunities to network with industry peers at this year’s TR Consumer Forum.
The Opening Cocktail on Sunday 4 September, sponsored by Beam Suntory and Stoli, will provide a warm welcome to delegates jetting in from around the world.
Attendees can take the chance to enjoy the balmy late summer weather at the alfresco affair on the Great Lawns by the beach.
The conference begins on Tuesday 6 September with the welcome coffee courtesy of Ritter Sport.
There are two more coffee breaks strategically scheduled throughout the day, offering the chance to spark conversation and refuel with hot drinks and confectionery snacks between sessions courtesy of our sponsors.
The mid-morning coffee beak is brought to delegates by Nestlé International Travel Retail while the afternoon’s refreshment is courtesy of Loacker.
The lunch on Monday is sponsored by Leonidas.
Once the day’s conference has concluded, delegates will have a chance to rest and refresh in time for the glamorous Networking Dinner sponsored by Anora, which will feature a vodka bar offering Koskenkorva Climate Action Vodka.
On the second day of the conference, Tuesday 6 September, the morning coffee is sponsored by Nestlé International Travel Retail once more, lunch is sponsored by Haribo, and the mid-afternoon coffee break comes courtesy of Walker’s Shortbread.
On top of all the fantastic networking opportunities available, there are some great prizes up available for delegates.
All those attending will be entered into a prize draw, courtesy of Host Sponsor Cyprus Duty Free, for a chance to win up to €9,000 (around US$9,162) in duty free shopping vouchers.
Delegates also stand a chance of winning a champagne helicopter ride over London, courtesy of Artisan People, our Partner Sponsor.
The experience is run by Artisan Airside and includes a flight in a private helicopter along the River Thames for a bird’s eye view of some of London’s most famous landmarks, including The O2, The Shard, the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
There’s yet another chance to win with the first 200 registered delegates entered into a prize draw to walk away with one of five stylish gifts from Platinum Sponsor E. Gluck.
