Global Industry Survey 2026

TRBusiness is thrilled to announce that the Global Industry Survey 2026 is now live.

The duty free and travel retail (DF&TR) industry’s original and longest-running state-of-the industry annual report, by a trade media publication, is back with a fresh lineup of questions that reflect the ever-evolving business landscape.

We encourage stakeholders around the world, at all levels, to share their insights in this leading source of industry intelligence.

This year’s survey features a mixture of multiple choice and open-ended questions on pertinent talking points: from what action needs to be taken to restore confidence in the duty-free price promise to the industry’s progress on having reliable market data.

Plus, as part of our planned extended coverage, we have a few extra category-specific questions that are being served to relevant stakeholders operating in those categories – these will appear to you automatically once you tell us what category(ies) you are active in at the start of the survey.

The deadline to have your say is Monday 22 December 2025 at 6pm UTC. (The deadline is earlier than usual this year due to our revised publishing schedule in 2026. Please note: If you feel you cannot meet this deadline but wish to be included, please contact [email protected] as it may be possible able to extend the deadline for you).

The results, comments and analysis will be published in the January 2026 TRBusiness e-zine and/or online at TRBusiness.com.
