Nuwave Channel Partners has signed an exclusive deal with Ireland’s JS Design Concepts to manufacture and distribute TripClip in travel retail and other markets.

The travel device, which be launched during TRMarketplace (28 September – 2 October), allows travellers to attach their smartphone or tablet to airline seats and other forms of public transport to enable the easy viewing of material on devices.

TripClip Travel Pro, the first version of the product, is due to launch exclusively with Ryanair from October.

Nuwave Channel Partners is currently in discussions with other airlines and travel retailers to stock the ‘ground-breaking’ product.

THREE INTERCHANGEABLE HEADS

Priced at €40/$46 for travel retail, TripClip is a patent-pending design aimed at creating an entirely new product category.

Compact and lightweight, it attaches easily and securely to seats in seconds, according to Nuwave Channel Partners.

TripClip Travel Pro uses a ‘hold and hinged’ locking system with the product featuring a built-in magnetic surface, covered with a silicone cushion pad for extra hold.

The item comes complete with three interchangeable clip heads, adhesive metal disc/plate for phone/tablet and a stylish carry case.

“TripClip is a unique and very innovative product that solves a real issue that most people encounter on their travels,” commented Hoj Parmar, CEO, Nuwave Channel Partners. “The product is close to being a universal solution and can be used on almost all forms of transport.

TripClip attaches securely to the back of airline seats, with detachable clip heads allowing it to work with other modes of public transport such as buses, trains, ferries and cars.

Joe Shortt, creator of TripClip and Founder and CEO at JS Design Concepts said: “My company is focused on creating cutting edge products for the travel industry, trying to understand the wants and needs of the globetrotting traveller.

“TripClip is about providing people with a compact device to make their travel experiences better in terms of relaxation, comfort and ease – to sit back, relax and enjoy watching a movie or TV show in peace at eye level, hands-free.

“Nuwave is a very experienced manufacturer of electronics products and has a fantastic worldwide distribution network, with a particular strength in the travel retail and airline markets. Partnering with them is a natural fit for this product and I look forward to a long and successful association with the business.”
