Nuxe unveils Reve De Miel natural-origin ingredient lip balm update to travel retail
By Faye Bartle |
Nuxe has reformulated its popular honey-based lip Reve de Miel balms utilising 100% natural-origin ingredients.
The updated products are now available to the channel and are ideal for travellers.
“Lip balms are a must for protecting the lips of anyone travelling by air and these two products provide travellers with the protection offered by the soothing and moisturising properties of honey,” said Elodie Brunner, Head of Export, Travel Retail & Middle East.
“Honey was one of the very first natural ingredients whose benefits our founder recognised and Nuxe is committed to helping protect bees through our sponsorship of a charity ‘un toit pour les abeilles‘, or ‘a home for bees’.”
As a skincare ingredient, honey is known for its soothing and moisturising properties.
In the Reve de Miel lip balms, it is combined with botanical oils for a super nourishing texture with a delicious scent.
There are two varieties to choose from: the Lip Balm and the Moisturising Stick.
The new Honey Lip Balm nourishes, repairs and softens dry lips, drawing upon the ‘concentrated treasures’ of the beehive, such as lavender honey from Provence, propolis and beeswax.
The updated Lip Moisturising Stick contains honey, sunflower oil and organic camelina oil to moisturise, repair and protect the lips.
This is the first time the products have been reformulated since they launched in 1994.
