Organic rosé from Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt/Perrin and Heinemann

By Doug Newhouse |

Heinemann Duty Free is exclusively offering Miraval Côtes de Provence from the house of Jolie-Pitt and Famille Perrin in its shops.

The travel retailer says that Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have teamed up with French wine producer Perrin to make just 140,000 bottles of the wine – dubbed ‘Brangelina’, which will be made available world-wide at a price of around €15.50.

Heinemann says the wine style is light and typical of the Provence region and is now available in selected locations, including the airports of Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Hanover, Berlin Tegel, Berlin Schönefeld and Oslo.

The wine is made on the Hollywood couple’s Château Miraval estate, close to the small Provençal town of Brignoles in the south of France, where organic vineyards managed by the celebrated wine-producing Perrin family dominate the 500-hectare site. Tradition-conscious and family run, Gebr. Heinemann says it is ‘more than happy’ to lend its support to the imaginative collaboration.
