Rémy Cointreau reports that Matthew Hodges has been promoted to Global Marketing and Business Development Director GTR, based in Singapore and reporting to Peter Sant, Managing Director GTR.
Replacing Hodges will be Simon Roffe, who has been appointed Global Travel Retail Director for the EMEA region based in Paris – also reporting to Peter Sant.
Roffe has spent most of his career to date in sales positions within Guinness and latterly with Diageo in the Global Travel Retail division.
Laura Lagière also joins the Paris team as Junior Trade Marketing Manager reporting to Laurent Cosson, Marketing Manager GTR.
A graduate of EPSI (ESSEC Group), Lagière was Product Manager of the interior decorating and gardening ranges for Vente-Unique.com, a major French online player in furniture and decorating.
Roffe and Lagière took up their positions last week and Hodges’ appointment takes effect on August 1, allowing time for a smooth handover.
